So many thought rush through my head when I think of you. I remember when I was really young I was scared of you but the more time spent with you I realized you completely understand everything. So many planned adventures together that didn’t happen. Many many years down the road in Heaven we will complete all the dreams you ever had together! I love you!

One very kind heart, that was Kody, the one thing that I will always remember  is his love of baking., and it was always the best. RIP, Kody, you will be missed here, so bake away  in heaven. Rest easy. Mary

We met Kody through our friend, his dad Ken. He was always a very respectful kid. Our thoughts and prayers are sent to the whole family during this very difficult time.

RIP. You were my younger brother. I will miss your greatly. Yes we did fight a lot when we were little but when we got older you were always there when I needed someone to talk too. You were a great brother. You will be greatly missed.

While Kody and Michael were definitely closer growing up I am forever thankful that they included me in on SOME their inside jokes. We had so much fun on that trip to Canada and I only wish that we would have had more time together, especially in our adult years. Will forever miss you and keep those memories close to my heart. 

What saddening news to hear of your loss.  I remember meeting Kody in Toronto, ON, Canada, along with Grandma Nancy, Miranda and Michael.  What a joy to have spent time with Kody, and the many laughs shared while we were at the Burton Auditorium, Medieval Times Castle, our drive to Niagara Falls, our walk through the  Butterfly Conservatory, our picnic at Niagara-on-the-lake.  His competitiveness go-carting and his advice while horseback riding.  He brought several smiles to me as did Miranda, Michael and Grandma Nancy.  I would like to extend my gratitude for the wonderful memories shared with Kody Lee Kirsch.  My deepest condolences to Ken and Windi.  To Stacey, Miranda and Michael.  To Uncle Steve, Aunt Wendy and Hana.  And to Grandma Nancy.  I am honoured to have memories with Kody and to be a part of your family.  May all your hearts find peace during your time of loss. We are so sorry for your loss. We've talked to Kody a few times at family gatherings. He was always so sweet and friendly.  Grandma Nancy and Du (our dad) have told us so many wonderful things about Kody and how special he was. Please know we are thinking about your family and praying for your comfort.

Although I hadn’t seen Kody for a long time, he will always be to me that little boy that held my hand on a roller coaster that I was afraid to ride. He told me “Hold on tight to my hand Kaz, it’ll be ok, it’s going to be fun”. With Kody on my left and Michael on my right, I made it through, and yes, it was fun!  That whole adventure with Kody, Michael and Nancy was so much fun.  Full of joy and laugher. A trip I will always treasure and never forget.

Hi kody, It's been years since we last spoke but I always liked you, and we graduated high-school together. I always thought you were so handsome, with your curly hair, and your eyes were so beautiful. I enjoyed hanging out and smoking with you. I know we weren't close at all. I don't even know if you'd call me a friend but I'll always remember you buddy. I hope you found the peace you needed. 

According to my cell phone records, my last conversation with Kody was March 23, 2022 at 1:18 PM.

" Grandma , see you for lunch on Tuesday", " I love You."

My life now will always be Tuesday's with Kody.

Kody and I stayed up for two days waiting for Hurricane Matthew, We sat on the porch and talked and laughed about everyone and everything. We were exhausted and finally said the storm was going to miss us and we fell asleep. We both slept so well, that in the morning when we woke , my daughter called to check on us, we said were good nothing happened. She said oh a tornado hit by your house. Kody went outside and yelled in surprise " Aunt Stacy come see this". A tornados took out the house behind us and all around us while we were asleep. We Weathered the storm together and took a long walk around the neighborhood and along the river. I enjoyed that special time  with Kody so much. 
He was so great to come and stay with me to keep me safe through the storm.  Our talks were so good and so meaningful I will miss them , however I will also cherish them and the time we spent together.
