I can hear your laugh and see your great smile. Will certainly miss playing Hand and Foot with you. You and Bill were great as a team and loved it when you beat Patti and I. I will miss seeing you at church when I am working the food pantry. You were always working at something. You and Bill were so much alike in wanting to share your talents. What a blessing it was to know you.

Patti, we love you and will always be here for you.

Seven years, this was all the time I was given with Larry. Larry was a farmer to me. He had a pocket full of seeds that he sowed wherever he went.

Larry shook my hand with a firm grip, looked me in the eyes and said “I have a salvation for you.” He handed me his Third Edition of Alcoholics Anonymous and said I would find the answer to all my problems in it. “Take a read!”.

Those seeds took a year to germinate. Taking the book down from the shelf a year later and reading it for the first time. Larry’s willingness to give and his service allowed God to work through him with that pocket full of seeds. It is with great love and gratitude I can say Larry Gene Powell saved my life!

In the past seven years Larry and Patti have shared a lifetime of memories of their journey together with us. Blessed to have been a part of the end of his journey and I will forever take him with me in mine.

Larry Gene Powell, I love you! Thank you.

Your friend,
Bill Rosado

Note: Patti, our prayers are with you and hoping our friendship continues to flourish. You are not alone. Love, Bill and Janean

I will miss Larry so much. He used to tease me with his dry humor & I had to stop & think a minute to realize he was teasing me. He was a true friend along with you Patti. I am so truly sorry he is gone. Our loss is Heaven’s gain. I know he is up there repairing something or polishing the golden gates.

Patti, you & the family have my deepest sympathies.

Patti & Family - I am so sorry to know that Larry passed. He will certainly be missed by friends, family and those organizations that he volunteered for. Here is a photo of him and Patti on one of their many trips that I always liked, you can tell they enjoyed each other and their life here in Flagler. He will be missed at Gamble Rogers State Park, where he used his skills when ever needed around the park. I will miss his wit and kindness. Patti, I am so sorry...
