Leona was born December 12, 1931 in Laurel Bloomery, Tennessee a daughter of Ed and Bessie Strugill.
She grew up in Tennessee lived in Delaware and moved to Florida in 1978. Leona attended Calvary Christian Center in Ormond, where she was an active member. She enjoyed raising and breading dogs. Leona always there to lend a helping hand, and was a very caring and loving person. And volunteered at the Love centers.
She is survived by her husband of 77 years. Claude Ray Davis whom she married October 26, 1948. Two daughters, Betty Davis and Barbara Williams and son-in-law Mark Linton Three grandchildren, Theresa Linton, Tammy Linton and Matthew Williams and there spouses. Five great-grandchildren. She also leaves her sister Thelma Lipford and numerous nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will be received Monday, March 23rd from 11:00 AM-12:00 PM at Calvary Christian Center 1687 W. Granada Blvd in Ormond Beach, where services will be held at 1:00 PM. Interment will follow at Flagler Memorial Gardens.
