Michael Robert Long, 30, of Flagler County was born February 5, 1987 in Panama Canal Zone, Panama. He passed away Wednesday June 28, 2017 with immediate family by his side at Halifax Hospital in Daytona Beach after being involved in a tragic car accident. He is survived by his mother and father, Ofelia and John Long; his brother, John Mohr Jr.; his aunts, Etelina Smith, Oris Smith, and Elia Holes; his grandmother Sara Smith; and his son, Jordan Long; Cousins, Audrey, Ety, Tony, Stephanie, Johnny, Ian, Lori, Austin, Wendy, Joseph and Edgar; Nieces and Nephews. Michael’s favorite sport was basketball and he was a fan of Michael Jordan. He loved his son and was a wonderful father. Michael earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Sports Marketing and Media at Full Sail University. A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 7th at 11am at Craig Funeral Home, located at 511 Old Kings Rd S, Flagler Beach, FL 32136 with a visitation from 10-11am prior to the service.
