Patrick's Catholic faith was the foundation of his life. As he approached the age to receive the Sacrament of Confirmation, he was blessed to receive the sacrament at his bedside, surrounded by the love of his family. His faith brought him comfort and strength and was a source of great peace to those who loved him.
Patrick was homeschooled and had just completed his seventh-grade year. He was a student of Mother of Divine Grace School and the Holy Family Homeschool Group, where he enjoyed learning and growing alongside his family and friends.
For several years, Patrick participated in therapeutic horseback riding at Whispering Meadows Ranch, where he found great happiness and confidence. He was a mischievous boy with a contagious smile who filled his family's lives with laughter, love, and unforgettable memories.
Patrick had a special love for elephants, garbage trucks, dinosaurs—especially Tyrannosaurus rex—his Catholic faith, and music. His curiosity, joyful spirit, and unique personality touched everyone who knew him.
He is survived by his loving parents, Sean and Linda Liston; his brother, Sean Liam Liston; his maternal grandparents, Yolanda and Henry Villagra; his aunt and uncle, Rose and Henry Mathew Villagra; his paternal aunts, Louise Liston, Mary Severson, Annie Liston, and Tommy Liston; and his beloved dog, Angel.
Patrick's life, though far too short, was filled with love, faith, and joy. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who were blessed to know him. May he rest in the eternal peace of Christ.
