

Richard Lee Price, 74, of Palm Coast, Florida, passed away peacefully on July 20, 2026. Richard was born on April 27, 1952, in Syracuse, New York, to the late Kenneth Eugene Price and Mable Rose Price.
At the age of 17, on May 6, 1969, Richard enlisted in the United States Marine Corps. He proudly served his country with honor, completing three back to back tours in Vietnam. During his military service, he earned numerous commendations, including the National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, Combat Action Ribbon, and Rifle Marksman Badge. He was honorably discharged on May 24, 1972.
Following his military service, Richard married the love of his life, Connie Jean Goins. Together they built a life in Flagler County, where they raised all of their children, including many foster children.
Richard worked for many years in the construction industry with ITT and Centex Homes. Known affectionately by his coworkers as "Stacks".
Committed to his community, Richard volunteered as a youth baseball coach and was a founding member of the Flagler County Police Athletic League (PAL) and the Babe Ruth Baseball League. Helping young people left a lasting impact on countless families throughout the community.
In his free time, Richard enjoyed riding his Harley and embracing the freedom of the open road, hunting, fishing and spending time with his children on the ballfield. While he dearly loved his children, it was his grandchildren who truly held his heart. He treasured every moment spent with them, and they will forever remember his love, laughter, and unwavering support.
Richard was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Connie Jean Price, in 1999, his dad Kenneth Eugene Price, in 2016 and his brother, Kenneth Price, in 2021.
He is survived by his children, John Wayne Morris, Cord Gerard Price, Lee Ann Price, Gene Richard Price (Shanna), Christina Rose Reynolds, and Kimberely Sunshine Wilson (Joshua). Although, he had many kids in the community that considered him a dad, Maria Wallace is one that definitely held his heart; his cherished grandchildren, John Joseph Morris; Kristopher Todd Bennett, Wyatt Ray Reynolds, Chloe Hope Reynolds, Jaiden Paige Wilson, Jailah Jean Wilson, Joshua Adam Wilson Jr., Taylor Rae Price; Brandon Richard Price, Joseph Lee Santiago, Steven Edwin Santiago Jr., Tanner Kane Hadley, Taylor Marie Hadley, and his brothers, Hank Price (Heather), Edward Price, and Douglas Price; his sister-in-law, Mary Price; as well as many loving relatives and wonderful friends who will miss him dearly.
Richard will be remembered for his patriotism, his generous heart, his infectious laugh, his devotion to his family, and the positive influence he had on so many within his community.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Richard's memory to the Dementia Society of America.
Visitation will be held at Craig-Flagler Palms Funeral Home, 511 Old Kings Road South, Flagler Beach, Florida 32136, on August 1, 2026, from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm, followed by a Funeral Service With Military Honors at Craig-Flagler Palms Funeral Home at 5:00 pm.
