Richard Alan Sadow, 76, of Miami and St Augustine, Florida, passed away on May 7, 2021 at Community Hospice in St. Augustine surrounded by family. He was the son of Hannah (Turk) Sadow and Irving Sadow.
He graduated from the University of Cincinnati and the University of Florida Law School. He was a die-hard Miami Hurricanes fan. He was a well-respected workers’ compensation lawyer, mentor, and founder of The Friends of 440 Scholarship Fund. The Scholarship Fund was born out of his passion, vision, and devotion to students, and he made it his mission to help children achieve their educational dreams. He was full of love and humor his entire life. He enjoyed spending time with family. He also enjoyed fishing, watching all varieties of sports, telling jokes, cooking, and cultivating his orchids. He touched many hearts and left a lasting impression on all who knew him. He was predeceased by his daughter, Jennifer Sadow. He is survived by his daughters Deborah Stubee (Toben) and Patricia Edsall (Robert) and granddaughters Kylah and Madison Stubee. Also surviving are his brother Mark Sadow (Marina), nephew Andrew Sadow, and niece Elyse Schrandt. A small internment ceremony is planned for Saturday June 19, 2021in Miami at Caballero Rivero Woodlawn South.
