Mr. Brown was born in Ticky Ticky, in the district of Coleyville, Manchester, Jamaica on July 23, 1939 and is the son of the late Gerald and Lillian (Barnes).
Mr. Brown was a devoted family man and loved to laugh. He enjoyed listening to religious programs, music, dancing and travelling. Travel destinations with his wife, Carol, family, and friends included many islands in the Caribbean and parts of Europe, including the Canary Islands.
He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Carol (Henry) and his five children: Michelle Ray, Robert (Karen), Gerald (Jocelyn), Kimberley, and Marjorie (David Henry). He also leaves behind his sister Daphne (Egbert DaCosta) and his brother Desmond (Beryl). Proud grandfather to Jordan, Gabriel, Caleb, Dennis, Darren, Mishka, and great grandfather to Zane, Diogene, and Malik. He also leaves behind his sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, grand nieces and nephews, cousins, and many friends.
He is predeceased by his parents, his first wife Joyce (Bailey), and his sister Barbara (Desmond Williams).
A viewing will be held from 9:45 a.m. -11:00 a.m. followed by funeral services from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Friday, March 4, 2022 at:
