

Robert (Bob) Moynihan passed away peacefully on March 10, 2025 at the age of 87. He was born on April 3, 1937 in Worcester, Massachusetts to Jeremiah and Grace Moynihan. He earned educational degrees from Holy Cross, Bridgewater State, and Boston College. He married and raised his four daughters in Mattapoisett, MA, worked as a teacher, Principal, and Assistant Superintendent of Schools in Mattapoisett and Fitchburg, MA, Keene, NH, Ormond Beach, FL, and St. Augustine, FL.
Bob was a devout Roman Catholic and enjoyed a quiet and prayerful retirement at his home in Flagler Beach, FL. He relocated to the Tampa Bay area in 2022.
He is survived by his family: Maura (Brad) Lear of Temple Terrace, FL; Amy (Larry) Tucceri of Star Valley Ranch, WY; Sarah (Byron) Martin of Tampa, FL; and Kathryn (Scott) Smith of Soddy Daisy, TN; his grandchildren: Samantha (Ben) Marquis, Matthew (Kelsey) Tucceri, Henry Lear, Daniel, Andrew, and Ryan Martin; and great-grandchildren: Wesson and Luke Marquis, and Sophie Tucceri. Bob was predeceased by his brother Bill, his nephew Bill, and sister Grace. He is also survived by his eleven nieces and nephews and their extended families.
A private Mass of Resurrection will be held at 10:30 AM on Friday, March 21, 2025 at St. Mary, Mother of God Catholic Church in Bunnell, Florida.
