I moved to Flagler Beach October of 89 and found a group of hardcore surfers that became my best friends within the first week. This friendship created so many great memories of gut busting laughs, high school shenanigans and endless epic surf sessions! Wess, I will never forget that laugh and the great times we had. Condolences to the Spencer family.

My friend Wess, was and will always be part of a brotherhood that I had with a select few individuals. I've been away for decades now, but somehow can always remember good times that include Wess. I will always have those memories and very sad to hear that one is gone. My condolences to the Spencer and my beach family.

Although we lived miles away and I rarely saw Wes he was always one of my favorite people. So much I would like to say but words just won’t come. Love you all.

There are so many thoughts, emotions, and memories going through my mind, it’s difficult to process and clearly convey them. I hope you know how much you were loved and the impact you had on so many lives. Your laughter was contagious and your smile brightened up any room you entered. You drew people to you with your larger than life personality, and underneath it all you had a heart of gold. My heart will forever be broken.
