Maria “Soqui” Negron 72, of Palm Coast passed away on September 1, 2018 at her home surrounded by her family. She was born on January 24, 1946 in Villalba, Puerto Rico to the late Victor Emeterio Correa and Rosa Maria Mercado. Maria was a devoted wife, mother and homemaker. She will always be remembered as the “life of the party” who gave you a special look when she wanted to dance. She was preceded in death by her husband Robert Negron in 2016; siblings, Betty Suarez, Rafin Vazquez, Efrain Vazquez and Marco Vazques. Survivors include her daughters, Cynthia Marie Negron, Stephanie (Luis) Serrano; step-daughter, Giselle (Juan) Fiffield; grandchild, Daniel Joseph Negron; step-grandchildren, Alejandro and Natalia Fiffield; sisters, Victoria Septh and Victor Correa and many more loving nieces nephews relatives and Friends. Donations in her memory may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, www.stjude.org. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 5, 2018, 4:00-8:00PM at the chapel of Craig-Flagler Palms Funeral Home, 511 Old Kings Road South, Flagler Beach. An additional visitation will be held on Friday, September 7, 2018 time-time at Schuyler Hill Funeral Home, 3535 E. Tremont Ave, Bronx, NY 10465. Funeral Mass to be celebrated on Saturday, September 8, 2018, TIME at St. Benedicts Catholic Church followed by interment at Saint Raymonds Cemetery.
