Terry James Radcliff, 73, of Flagler Beach, Florida, passed away peacefully on February 1, 2026, at the Stuart F. Meyer Hospice House, where he received compassionate and loving care. Terry was born on September 8, 1952, in Columbus, Ohio, to the late James and Nellie Radcliff. He proudly served his country after enlisting in the United States Army and was honorably discharged. Following his military service, Terry worked for the United States Postal Service and held several other positions throughout his life before retiring as a Merchant Marine Engineer.
In retirement, Terry fully embraced the things he loved most—riding his motorcycle, fast cars, and living life with a “lead foot” and a true need for speed. He was an avid sports fan and a devoted supporter of “THE” Ohio State Buckeyes. Terry loved trying all kinds of delicious food. From fresh, flavorful sushi to Karen’s rich, sweet chocolate cake, Terry enjoyed it all—especially when dark chocolate is involved. Whether it was a tasty dinner out or something Karen made at home, Terry never missed a chance to enjoy. Terry is survived by his loving wife of 34 years, Karen Radcliff; his children Jay Radcliff, Casey Radcliff (Annie), Jeremy Radcliff, Joshua Radcliff (Lindsey), Christopher Penwell, and Rebecca Radcliff; and his cherished grandchildren Haylee Penwell, Matthew Radcliff, Nathaniel Radcliff, Benjamin Radcliff, and Cara Penwell. He is also survived by his brother Jamie Radcliff and Jamie’s significant other, Michele, as well as his beloved Mini Australian Shepherd, Angus, who was always by his side.
Donations in Terry’s memory may be made to the Stuart F. Meyer Hospice House, in gratitude for the exceptional care and kindness they provided
