Rogero, Thomas (Tom) Theodore, of Palm Coast, Florida passed away on Monday, October 15, 2018, after a courageous and brave battle with cancer. He was born on May 13, 1931 in San Mateo, Florida to the late Theodore Andrew Rogero and Claire Ramsey Rogero. He graduated from Florida State University in 1954 with a Master’s Degree in Library Science. He moved to Knoxville, Tennessee where he was head of the Science and Engineering Library. In 1969, Thomas married Norma Jean Lowe, and later relocated to Miami, Florida with their daughter. Tom was at the University of Miami for 23 years and retired in 2000 as Deputy Director of Richter Library. Thomas is survived by his wife of 49 years, Norma Lowe Rogero, daughter, Margaret Claire Rogero-Hastings (Jason Hastings) granddaughter, Madeline Claire Rogero, and sister, Elizabeth Claire Rogero, several nieces and nephews, and cousins. Besides his parents, he was proceeded in death by his brother, John Rogero. He was a member of the Minorcan Society and Trinity Presbyterian Church. The family will receive friends at 2:00 p.m., with the service following at 3:00 on Wednesday, October 24 at Trinity Presbyterian Church. There will be a private interment at San Mateo Cemetery, in San Mateo, Florida, on Sunday October 28, 2018 Donations may be made to Trinity Presbyterian Church Bell Choir in memory of Tom. 156 Florida Park Drive North, Palm Coast FL 32137.
