Ursula Ida Lincoln, 81, of Flagler Beach, Florida, passed away on February 21, 2025. Born on September 10, 1943, in East Germany, Ursula embarked on a new journey at the age of 16, emigrating to the United States. She settled in Parkton, Maryland, where she raised her family amidst the tranquility of the countryside, enjoying the beauty of nature and the peaceful park setting of her home.
In 1993, Ursula moved to Florida, drawn by the warm climate and the nearby ocean. She quickly became a fixture of the local community, embracing a daily routine of walks, cycling, and swimming that she maintained for decades.
A lover of animals, Ursula had a special bond with all creatures great and small. Her feline companion, Martin, shared her life for over a decade, and her cherished memories include caring for Seymour, a loyal dog who had been by her side nearly 50 years ago. She also had a deep affection for turtles, often seen ensuring their safe passage across streets or offering them shelter when they wandered into her yard.
Most precious to Ursula was time spent with her partner Rick Belhumeur of 20-years and the life they shared by the ocean. The serene environment created by her love of planting flowers they both treasured.
Her daughter, Alexandra Waldron, and son, Eric Lincoln, remained a constant presence in her life, always in contact and bringing joy as she cherished their health and happiness. Ursula also held her granddaughter, Stephanie Dzugan, and her four great-grandchildren close to her heart.
Ursula was predeceased by her beloved husband, Bridwell Lincoln, who was the foundation of her life in this country, as well as her mother, Hildegard Ewert, who guided them to these shores. She was also preceded in death by her grandparents, August Zents.
Her legacy lives on in the hearts of her family, her love of nature, and the indelible mark she left on those who knew her.
