Wavie Hall Oxford, 96, of Palm Coast, entered into rest January 2, 2024. Wavie was born September 3, 1927 in Terrel County, Georgia. Wavie retired from the New York City Department of Education on January 3, 1994. She was a member of the Palm Coast United Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by two brothers Ulysses and Jim Henry Hall and her parents Claudia King and Arthur Billings.
She leaves to cherish her memory three daughters, four grandsons, three great granddaughters and a great grandson.

God saw the road was getting rough
The hills were hard to climb;
He gently closed those loving eyes
And whispered peace be thine.
The weary hours, the days of pain
The sleepless nights are past;
The ever patient worn out frame
Has found sweet rest at last.
