After high school, Zulma began her journey as a wife and mother and was blessed with two children, Benny and Zulma. Later she remarried, the late Edward Hernandez, and was blessed with three more children, Charity, Felix and Diane. Together they built a life rooted in love, faith, and family.
Zulma was deeply rooted in her faith and found happiness in life’s simple blessings. She loved gardening, cooking for her family, watching movies, solving crossword puzzles, reading, and taking peaceful drives. Her home was filled with warmth, laughter, and love, and she treasured every moment spent with those she loved most.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Edward Hernandez, in 2002.
Zulma leaves behind her loving children: Benny Roman, Zulma Castillo, Charity Fries, Felix Hernandez, and Diane Hernandez; along with many cherished grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her siblings, Brunilda Ortega, Roman Silva Jr., and David Silva.
Zulma will be remembered for her gentle spirit, her strong love of the Lord, her strength, and unwavering love for her family. Though she will be deeply missed, her memory will forever live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
