Agnes Marie Svatek

Agnes Marie Hermes Svatek, age 87, passed away peacefully on January 8, 2016, with family at her side. Agnes was born in Flatonia TX, March 25, 1928 to Frank & Stella (Krejci) Mica. She was a faithful member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Flatonia where she continued to volunteer until this past December.

She is survived by one daughter, Kathy Seale & husband Mike of Moulton, one son, Anthony Hermes & wife Angie of Fairfax Station, VA, numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Agnes was preceded in death by her parents, step-mother Louise (Krhovjak) Mica, husband’s Carl B. Hermes & Joe R. Svatek, three sisters, Ella Mica, Viola Stavinoha, Annie Fougerat, two nieces & one nephew.

Memorial services will be held on Friday-January 22, 2016 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Flatonia, with a Rosary at 1:30 pm followed by a Memorial Mass at 2:00 pm with Father Eddie Winkler officiating. Burial will take place at a later date.

Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
