Mrs. Francisca Velasquez

She is survived by two sons, Johnny Velasquez and wife Margie of Flatonia, and Felix Velasquez of Flatonia; four daughters, Ernestine Velasquez of Schulenburg, Enedina Almaraz of Flatonia, Rose Mary Sanchez and husband Tony of Flatonia, and Stephanie Velasquez of Flatonia; four brothers, Domingo Alvarado of Schulenburg, Felipe Alvarado of Hamler, Ohio, Amador Alvarado of Waelder, and Jerry Alvarado of Flatonia; eight grandchildren, and 4 great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Velasquez is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Andrew Velasquez (May 1974); one brother and two sisters.

Visitation will be 2:00 pm Friday, May 6, 2011 at Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Flatonia. Rosary will be 7:00 pm Friday, May 6, 2011 at Smith Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral Services will be held 11:00 am Saturday, May 7, 2011 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Flatonia with Father Joe Hybner officiating. Burial will follow in the Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Isaac Almaraz, Thomas Almaraz, Nick Sanchez, Brandon Cruz, Eddie Hernandez and Eugene Trejo.
