Jackie attended Scotts School and graduated from Flatonia High School. She married Marvin Hahn on July 31, 1954 in Moulton, TX. She and Marvin lived in New Braunfels, TX and later moved to Flatonia. She worked in the office of the F.I.S.D. and later worked at several livestock auctions in the area, with the last being in Flatonia. She was an excellent cook and baker. Her pies were always a big hit.
Jackie was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and her brother Fred Lee Wiedemann.
She is survived by her sister Evelyn Matocha (Ted), her nephew Aaron Todd Matocha, her nieces Sharon Wiedemann (Rene Ruiz), Dr. Dede Matocha Pruski (Brian) and their children Austin and Connor, and Amanda, and Dr. Dawn Matocha (Dr. Jamie Murray) and their children Tyler and Ryan.
Serving as pallbearers are Todd Matocha, Brian Pruski, Dr. Jamie Murray, Henry Kutac, Jack Pavlas, Robert Hahn and Honorary pallbearer Ted Matocha.
A visitation for Jackie will be from 5:00 to 8:00 pm Wednesday, April 6, 2022 at Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Flatonia, TX. Funeral service will be held at 10:00 am on Thursday, April 7, 2022 at Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Flatonia, TX, officiated by Rev. Herb Beyer. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery in Flatonia, TX.
