Jean Wotipka, age 95, of Flatonia, Texas passed away on Saturday, April 9, 2022. Jean was born August 20, 1926 in Seguin, TX to Bernice Roberts Brawner and Frank D. Brawner. She was proud to be a part of the Greatest Generation and served in the United States Army Cadet Nursing Corp.
Jean is survived by her son Samuel J. Wotipka (Spouse- Patsy); and her daughter Pamela Roberts; her grandchildren-Erich Wotipka and Emilie Wotipka, her great grandchildren-Luke Wotipka, Ava Wotipka, Finley Nichols and Ford Nichols.
Jean was preceded in death by her husband Barney F. Wotipka; her father Frank D. Brawner and her mother Bernice Roberts Brawner; her brother Sam Chrisco and her sister Betty Chrisco Enlow.
A public visitation for Jean will be held Wednesday, April 13, 2022 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Smith Funeral Chapel, 128 East 5th St, Flatonia, TX. A celebration of life will occur Thursday, April 14, 2022 at 10:00 AM at Flatonia Baptist Church, 225 East 6th St., Flatonia, TX. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery, Flatonia, TX.
