I am so saddened to hear of your Mom's passing. I hold dear memories of long ago when my mother, Margie Starks Williams, and yours were such good friends. I will never forget those picnics at the Pagoda and Tower when we were kids,  nor when your father George accidently spilled the lemonade jug on me when you lived on Sixth Street and your Mom gave me one of  Terrie's playsuits to wear . Your Mother was so devoted to her family and l admired her for that. She loved you dearly. May God comfort you and your family members during this difficult time of mourning.

On the passing of Dorothy Bolton Davies Wright, the Goodwin family has experienced a great loss.  Dorothy was an anchor in our lives, to all our memories of childhood and community.  What a wonderful person!  I will always remember her kind and loving nature and her sweet and gentle smile.  May God be with you and your family.

I am so sorry to hear of your mother's passing. She was a dear, considerate, sweet spirit, who will be missed.

I am truly saddened to hear of Dorothy's passing having just talked to her a few weeks ago and was just about to inform her of my Aunt's passing, whom she knew. I will always remember that smile and her beautiful personality.   To the Bolton family,  stay strong;  She is at peace and no longer in pain.

I will always have the best childhood memories of going with Khaliah to Grandmom Dorothy's. Always in my heart.

I am deeply saddened by the news of mom Dorothy's passing. My thoughts and prayers are with your family.

To the family-
  As some of you know, I had visited my dearest friend in August 2014.  Her body had weaken but her spirit was indeed strong.  She had mailed a card in February with her new address. I spoke to her at that time and phoned her again in March.  We had a lovely chat.  Dorothy was special.  My family and I have known her and the family since I was 13.  I will forever cherish the beautiful memories of our friendship.  Rest in Peace dear friend.

Aunt Dorothy was a wonderful woman who clearly demonstrated what family is all about. I will always hold special memories in my heart.

As I reflect on the times we spent together a calmness quiets my soul. Tho distance seperated us your thoughts and hopes were always with me. the apostle Paul said it best"There are things that last forever:Faith,hope and love"

Dorothy was a wonderful and kind lady. She always remembered to call mom (Mildred (Miller) Olanin) on her birthday.  Her and my Aunt Blanche were best of friends and the last I talked to her she told me how much she misses her.  I'm sure her, Aunt Blanche and mom are all reunited.  Rest in peace dear Dorothy and to the family my prayers are with you all.  We lost a wonderful lady.

Although I have not seen Dorothy for many years, I will never forget her positive spirit and how she encouraged me when I was a single mother and feeling down.  She had a beautiful spirit and a kindness about her that was unique and always had a smile.

As Dorothy's family is aware, Dorothy and I were friends forever. As teenagers, I looked forward to sneaking out of Pottsville and driving to Reading to hang out with the Fleming Sisters.  Dorothy was a blast..and the nicest, prettiest friend that I had.  She told me during her last days that she was tired and ready to go.  So now, I am sad;  but happy to know that she will now get her well-deserved rest.  I miss her..

Mere words cannot begin to express my sorrow for the passing of my dear {sister} friend. We had a special in-law relationship for many, many years. Grief is so hard, but I shall remember our special times together. You were the glue that kept us all together! I now take consolation in knowing that the Queen is with King Jesus. Rest my dear sister, you have earned your crown!
