Allie Mae Bollinger

BOLLINGER, Allie Mae – of Mt. Morris Twp., age 84, passed away Thursday, September 15, 2011 at McLaren Regional Medical Center. Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Monday, September 19, 2011 at Reigle Funeral Home, 5501 W. Pierson Road, Flushing, Michigan with Pastor Frank Yount officiating. Burial follows at Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation 4 to 8 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association or the Mt. Morris Twp. Fire Dept. Station 2. Allie was born in Advance, Missouri on August 9, 1927. She married Melvin Bollinger on February 15, 1946 in Bloomfield, Missouri and they moved to Michigan in 1947. Surviving are: 5 sons, Dennis and wife Janie, Jack and wife Lorraine, Donald and wife Brenda, John and wife Cheryl, and Keith and wife Jenny; daughter, Cynthia and husband Jeff Rieger; 18 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; sister, Alma Peters; and brother, Freeman Tippett. Mrs. Bollinger was preceded in death by her husband, Melvin and six siblings.
