Cameron John Martin

MARTIN, Cameron John – age 29, passed away Friday, August 14, 2015 at University of Michigan Hospital in Ann Arbor after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Visitation will be held on Monday, August 17, 2015 from 12PM-8PM. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, August 18, 2015 at 1PM with one hour of visitation prior at Reigle Funeral Home – Sunset Chapel – 5501 W. Pierson Rd., Flushing, MI. Pastor Jim Wilford officiating. Cameron was born on August 27, 1985 in Flint, MI to Douglas and Kelly Jo (McInerney) Martin. He was married to the love of his life, Jasica (Opperman) Martin. Cameron was a project manager for Northpointe Inc. in Traverse City, MI. He enjoyed playing video games, computers, going for walks and traveling anywhere he could. He loved spending time with his family and playing with his little girl Amarli Monroe. He had many life-long friends and was a wonderful friend who would do anything for any of them. Cameron was an amazing man and was loved very much and will be deeply missed. Surviving are his wife, Jasica (Opperman) Martin; daughter, Amarli Monroe Martin; Jake Whitney; mother, Kelly Jo Martin; brothers, Tyler Martin and Craig Martin; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Mark (Carrie) Opperman; brother-in-law, Travis Opperman; very special aunt, Debbie Martin; and many other relatives and friends. Cameron was preceded in death by his father, Douglas “Big Doug” Martin, and his grandparents. Those desiring may make contributions to the family.
