JONES, Daisy (Carlita) – Age 75, died Tuesday, April 19, 2011 at Hurley Medical Center. Ms. Jones was born March 27, 1936 in Flint the daughter of Hector and Ina (Clanahan) Jones. Carlita served her country with the Women’s Army Corp. as a Medical Specialist. She was very active in AA. Carlita began working for Veterans Cab Company as a driver and was still working as a dispatcher. Surviving are her sister, Verla Potter, step-brother, Frank Henry Jr., nieces, Karla Wright, Ronda Murphy, Laura Battles, cousins, Mike Holt and Gretchen (Chris) Baas, many great nieces and nephews, special friends, Lori Carpenter and Rene Rock and her many friends from AA. Carlita was preceded in death by her parents and niece Debbie Paden. As were her wishes cremation has taken place.
