KITSON, Daniel S. “Joe” – age 66 of Flint, MI passed away Sunday, November 27, 2016 at Hurley Medical Center. Daniel was born October 16, 1950 in Flint, MI and remained a resident his whole life. Daniel loved the outdoors, especially disc golf and collecting beach glass on the shores of Lake Michigan. He worked for Hurley as a public safety officer for almost 30 years until his retirement in 2013. Daniel leaves behind his partner of 18 years, Tim Petrowski; sister, Maureen Taylor; brother, Jay (Leigh) Kitson; nephews, Tim Kitson, Jeff Kitson, Greg Taylor, and Nick Taylor, and niece, Holly Lee. Daniel was preceded in death by his mother, Phyllis Kitson, in 2012. He will be deeply missed and loved forever by his second family, the Petrowskis.
