REED, Douglas L. - age 61 passed away Saturday, May 27, 2017. A Memorial Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 1, 2017 from 11AM-1PM. A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, June 1, 2017 at 1PM at Reigle Funeral Home - Sunset Chapel – 5501 W. Pierson Rd. Flushing, MI. Douglas was born in Flint, MI on July 25, 1955 and graduated from Flushing High School class of 1973. Douglas was preceded in death by his father, Laurence Reed. Doug is survived by his loving mother, Berneda Reed of Flushing; daughter, Jessica (Matthew) Harrison; son, Cullen Reed; the light of his life, granddaughters, Brooklyn and Avery Harrison; siblings, Vicky (Bill) Noecker, Marcia Reed (Chip Hoffman), Daniel Reed; nieces and nephews. Doug had a love for farming and the great outdoors. Doug enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and riding his Harley. Doug never met a stranger and his favorite saying was God is good.
