HUDZINSKI, Gerald Otis, age 72, of Flint, died Wednesday, October 31, 2012 at his residence. Gerald was born on December 14, 1939 in Yale, Michigan, son of the late Harry and Leota (Buck) Hudzinski. He is survived by his wife Caroyl Jeanne (nee Stevens), children Brian (Mary) Miller, Curt Miller, Melisa (B.J.) Lee, and Crystal (Clayton) Lafler, grandchildren Michael Miller, Maddie Miller, Terry Barnett, Christopher Barnett, Sydney Miller, Noah Miller, Lauren Lee, Joey Lee, Chad Earnest and Alex Lafler, great grandchildren, Morgan, Carter and Lauren Barnett. He is also survived by two brothers and one sister. Gerald served in the U.S. army during the Vietnam War and was an Electrician at General Motors Foundry in Pontiac. He retired from General Motors in 1990 following 28 years of service. He was an avid hunter and wood worker and was a member of the North American Hunt Club, Muzzle Loading Association, and St. Roberts Catholic Church. He will be greatly missed. A memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, November 7, 2012 at St. Robert Bellarmine Catholic Church, 310 Cherry St., Flushing, Fr. Roy Horning celebrant. Inurnment at Great Lakes National Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church Wednesday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. and also invite all to fellowship with the family at a luncheon immediately following the service.
