Harold R. White, age 93, passed away on Tuesday, December 8, 2015. Harold was born on May 23, 1922 in Flint to parents Joseph and Minnie (Stuhr) White. Harold proudly served in the United States Army as a tank commander during WWII and he was rewarded with two Purple Hearts. Harold is survived by his son, Jim (Kathy) White; grandchildren: Josh, Zachary, Kimberly, and Amanda; great grandchildren: Parker, Willow, Mei Li, Malek, Meesha, and Keith; three sisters; two brothers; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Marguerite White; granddaughter, Suzanne; and four brothers. A private burial will take place at Flint Memorial Park, and a memorial service for Harold will take place at a later date.
