Jaedon was a gift from God. I am so honored to call him my stepbrother. There was never a dull moment with him.

I remember during Christmas one year we got together with Hayden and my younger sister Myah. Hayden and Myah were yelling at Jae and I to stop fooling around and laughing too loud.

We were getting lectured by children as teenagers.

It was a day full of laughs and beautiful memories.

May he rest in peace... until we meet again

Jae was my student his 9th grade year. Being a sub can be difficult. Jae helped
me feel like I belonged. He was always kind to me and “had my back”. He is one of the faces I see when I reflect on my days at DHS- some of his light is in my heart. Peace and healing to his family and friends.

Jae was a kind and funny kid. He would always make you smile. I will miss his laugh and how he was a momma's boy. RIH Jae, you will be missed.
My prayers go out to the family.

I've hung out with jae a handful of times he was this nicest funniest person I've ever met. I was so happy to start working with that man last month not only was he a great person but also a great worker always kept me happy and positive around him and for most people that's a difficult thing he was the best

I knew Jae when I was younger, as I was being bullied in my school, Jae not only showed me kindness, but showed me friendship. Jae took it upon himself to make an effort to be nice, he made an effort to show me another person cared. I can never repay him for what he’s done, but I can, and will, forever remember Jae as an example for how we should all treat others. Rest in peace Jae, I cant find a statue big enough for your honor, nor a bouquet elaborate enough for your personality.

I don’t even know where to begin. Jae has always been such a kind sweet young man for as long as I have known him. As an infant and toddler, you couldn’t find a happier child. He was all boy and played hard when he was playing.

I have a lot of memories with Jae but my fondest was camping with the family before we moved away. The last time I saw Jae, he had grown up into such a kind sweet young man and I totally see where his family calls him a gentle giant. There are so many memories with our boys playing and being boys.

Jae will leave a great big void with so many that will miss him. My heart and prayers go out to all of his loved ones that will miss him so very very much!

I remember being in his English class last year along with math class, history class and gym class. He never failed to make everyone in the room laugh with his funny jokes. He loved listening to music no matter what we were doing in school, he was a great person and I’m glad I was able to call him a friend of mine. Rest easy Jae❤️

I pray for peace and comfort for Brett and Amy and this family during this time . I have such great memories of Jae , golfing with him and Brett while he drove the cart with me , riding on the back half the time . The trips to the store for sunflower seeds and Mello Yello and candy . Telling him to pick out something for Christmas and him wanting a pick . Wanting to always keep his hair up and having me braid it . Most of all his sense of humor ! Funniest kid I ever knew . Lighting fireworks on New Years Eve trying to knock down a gigantic icicle with his dad and uncle . Listening to music with him . Having conversations about the turtle statue in his dads apartment he called it the septoid . I will always remember his unique personality and sweet spirit . He would always tell me he loved me and give me a hug . I’m going to miss this kid and laughing with him . Gone way to soon amd will never be forgotten . Such a beautiful soul and person . Jae had a way of touching people’s life with his sweet soul and witty sense of humor . I’ll always remember him dancing around and showing me his dance moves .
