John David Curton

CURTON, John D. – Age 71, of Mt. Morris Twp. died Sunday January 6, 2013 at his home. Mr. Curton was born January 31, 1941 in Jonesboro, Arkansas the son of William and Lillian (True) Curton. John served his country with the U.S. Air Force and was very active with the Lake Orion Masonic Lodge. He retired from General Motors. Surviving are his son, Charles (Kelly) Curton, grandchildren, Alyssa Curton, Andrew Curton and Nickolas Curton, brother Richard Curton. Mr. Curton was preceded in death by his parents, 2 sisters and 5 brothers. Friends may visit the family from 3 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Reigle Funeral Home. The funeral service will be 11 a.m. Friday, January 11, 2013 at the funeral home. Pastor Seth Ferguson will officiate. Burial will be at Great Lakes National Cemetery.

I always knew him as Uncle J.D. he was my great uncle. He always had a great big smile on his face. My prayers go out to Chuck and his family and to Uncle Pete that God comfort you all while you grieve. I Love you all.
