John Felton Knight

John was born to the late Felton and Virgie (Nolan) Knight on November 20, 1961, in Flint, Michigan. John adored his wife of 33 years, Renea, and loved his children and grandchild. He also cherished his faithful dog, Yogi. For over 20 years, he was a dedicated employee of Applegate Chevrolet dealership. John was a very hardworking man, who could never sit still and always seemed to be working on a project. He had such a giving heart, and was always there to help others when they needed it, and he could fix anything. In his spare time, John enjoyed going hunting, playing poker, or going to his favorite store, Home Depot. He was also a big NASCAR fan. John will be dearly missed by his loving family, and all who had the privilege to know him.

John leaves behind to cherish his memory his loving wife, Renea; dear children, Andrew Knight (Alicia Teague) and Laura Ford (Josh Dille); precious grandchild who was his pride and joy, Emma Rose; dear brother Jimmy (Teresa) Knight; dear sisters, Judy Knight, Kathy Lovett and Linda Long; loving sister in law, Shirley Knight; and loving mother in law, Lynn Green.

John is preceded in death by his parents, Felton and Virgie Knight; brothers, Larry Knight and Kirby Knight; sister, Peggy Knight; and father in law, Jack Green.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 13, 2021, at The Carpenter's House Church, 2740 Grange Hall Rd., Fenton, MI from 12pm to 4pm, with a time of remembrance and prayer at 1:30pm.
