Josephine Elizabeth Gorman

Gorman, Josephine Elizabeth., 87 of Flushing, passed away in Flushing January 28, 2013. She enjoyed family gatherings and was a very loving Mother, Grandmother and Great-Grandmother. She was a member of St. Robert Bellarmine Catholic Church and a lifetime member of the American Legion William G Haan Red Arrow Auxiliary No. 151. Surviving are five children: Susan (Tom) Bourdelais, Robert (Phyllis) Gorman Jr., Sharon (Timothy) Hogan, Sandra (Stephen) Dyball, Paul Gorman and Donna Gorman. Two sisters: Catherine Thiel, Mary Galko, twenty-five Grandchildren and twenty-two Great-Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Robert, daughter Sally, Sisters: Julianna, Mary Veronica, Frances, Victoria, brother, Joseph and two grandchildren, Joni and Kyle, and great granddaughter Elizabeth. The service in celebration of her life will be at St. Robert Bellarmine Catholic Church , 310 N. Cherry St, Flushing, on Wednesday, January 30, at 10:30 a.m. Fr. Roy Horning officiating. A time of sharing with the family will be Tuesday, January 29, from 2:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Reigle Funeral Home, 5501 W. Pierson Rd. Flushing, Michigan with a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Robert’s Food Pantry and Heartland Hospice.
