You always told such delightful stories of your mom and dad. Then I met your mom and knew how lucky you were to have such a great mom. Nobody else would cart you back and forth to work with a broken foot than an awesome mom!

I am so sorry for your loss. My thoughts and prayers goe out to you and your dad.

Mrs Albee was one of my favorite teachers. I still quote the wisdom she imparted to me like, "well Mrs Albee always said if the machine isn't sewing right it probably isn't threaded right." She was a wonderful teacher and person. I hope her family finds comfort knowing how many lives she touched.

Dear Ted & Marci...I was shocked and saddened to hear this news about Joyce! She was a wonderful person with a laugh that I’ll not soon forget. Joyce and I worked together to compile a list of former Westwood Heights staff members for the 30th anniversary of the district. To my amazement, Joyce knew almost all of the former employees, and had a memory or two to share about them. We laughed so much! I had such a great time working on that project...and I will remember her always!

May God grant you comfort during the difficult days ahead!

Marci & family,

So so sorry to hear this news. While my heart aches for your loss, I'm smiling through tears remembering the kindness she showed me at a young age. Memories of fun times in the pool, a trip west to Yellowstone! But mostly what is so vivid from that time was the deep adoration she had for her daughter & husband. Even at my young age (grade school), that shined through.

My prayer is that you'll find comfort in the coming weeks from great memories. . . and remember that [in the ad-libbed words of Maya Angelou] : you may forget what someone said or did but you never forget how they made you FEEL. That's quite the legacy!
