KEITH EDWIN BARRETT, 84, of Flushing, Michigan went home to be with the Lord on January 11, 2024. Keith was born May 27, 1939, in Charleston, West Virginia. He was the son of the late Cebert Clifford and Leno Pearl Barrett. Keith served our country in the United States Army between 1962 and 1964. He retired from General Motors V8 Engine Plant in Flint in 1996, after 33 years of service. Keith was a member of Mayfair Bible Church in Flushing. He enjoyed playing basketball and softball at church; playing with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren and talking about their sports activities; and playing games with his parents and siblings.
Keith is survived by his wife, Linda Kay Barrett; daughters Trina Chappell and Tonya Miller; adopted children Jeffrey Barrett and Riley Crittenden; grandchildren Jordan, Logan, Leighton, Kamryn, Spencer, Jennifer, Matthew, Mitchell, Mattison; 12 great-grandchildren; sisters Phyllis Covert and Patricia Morrison, brothers Curtiss, Lowell, and Paul Barrett.
Visitation will be Thursday, January 18, 2024, 4-7 p.m., at Reigle Funeral Home, 5501 Pierson Rd., Flushing, MI 48433.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Friday, January 19, 2024, 12:00 noon at Mayfair Bible Church, 5339 W. Pierson Road, Flushing, MI, by Rev. Dean Stewart, with visitation at 11 a.m. prior to the service. Keith will be laid to rest at Flint Memorial Park, Mt. Morris, Michigan.
