SCHERRER, Laura Jean – Age 85, went to be with her Lord, Friday, May 25, 2012 at Durand Senior Care. Mrs. Scherrer was born January 18, 1927 in Flint the daughter of Delbert and Catherine (Quigley) Davis. She was a Medical Assistant for over 20 years. Surviving are her children, Doug (Kim) Scherrer, Jane (Al) Starr, Jennifer (Darwin) Scherba; 11 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren. Mrs. Scherrer was preceded in death by her parents, husband Eugene J. Scherrer, daughter, Linda Scherrer and brother, Delbert Davis and granddaughter Katie. Friends may visit the family from 11 to 12 noon Monday, June 4, 2012 at Good Shepherd Catholic Church, 400 N. Saginaw, Montrose, MI. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated 12 noon Monday June 4, 2012 at Church. Father Gary McGinnis will officiate. Memorial contributions may be made to the Food Bank of Eastern Michigan.
