He was born in Flint, Michigan on July 20, 1948 to Francis "Buck" and Betty Trigger. He graduated from Beecher High School in 1966. Loran served with the Army Reserve and was a firefighter with the Mt. Morris Twp. Fire Department, for many years. He retired from Buick as a Millwright after over 30 years of loyal service. An active hunter, he loved his time hosting deer camp near Grayling and could often be found cooking for the entire crew.
Loran is survived by his daughter Rhonda (John) Torres; son Ryan Trigger; grandchildren: Loran Trigger, Sabrina Torres, and Tyler Torres; sister Mary (Clare) Hatfield; niece Rachel (Tony) Mann; great-nephews, Rhett and Maverick, as well as a host of extended family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Buck and Betty; and sister Linda Trigger.
