

PALIANI, Louise L. (LoBaido)– Age 73, of Flushing, died Tuesday, June 19, 2012 at her home. Mrs. Paliani was born October 28, 1938 in Flint the daughter of Rosario and Grace (Jarvis) LoBaido. On April 30, 1960 Louise married Angelo Paliani. Together they owned Angie’s Pizzeria on Detroit St. and Flint Park Blvd. and Paliani’s Imported Foods and Deli in Flushing. Louise was a member of St. Robert Catholic Church and Sons of Italy. She loved cooking for her large family using ingredients from her and her husbands garden. Louise enjoyed shopping, going to the casino and playing Bocce. Surviving are her husband, Angelo Paliani, children, Angela (Norm) Fleming, Robert (Renae) Paliani, Paul (Debbie) Paliani, grandchildren, Rosa and Chase Fleming, Dominic and Andrea Paliani, Alex, Liliana and Lucy Paliani, sisters, Anne LoBaido, Pauline (Dave) Giguere, brother, Gaspare “Butch” (Val) LoBaido, many nieces and nephews. Mrs. Paliani was preceded in death by her sister, Nina. The family would like to send special thanks to Myla Bacalso and McLaren Hospice. Friends may visit the family from 2 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Reigle Funeral Home. The Funeral Mass will be 11 a.m. Friday, June 22, 2012 at St. Robert Catholic Church. Entombment will follow at new Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
