NUDI, Luigi – Age 82, died Thursday, August 2, 2012 at McLaren – Flint. Mr. Nudi was born April 19, 1930 in Italy the son of Amil and Virginia Nudi. He served his country with the U.S. Army during the Korean War. Luigi was a master gardener and enjoyed growing fruit trees. He was a Mason and a Shriner. Mr. Nudi operated Exclusive Cleaners in Flint for 35 years and East Side Cleaners in Owosso for 15 years. Surviving are his son, Gino Nudi and Heidi Chasse; daughter, Gina (Paul) Gustafson; grandchildren, Evan, Jared, Kelsey, Leo, Travis (Jamie) Gustafson, Megan and Alyssa; great granddaughter Haley. Also surviving are his life partner, Barb Dye and her children, Cindy Pease, Dale, Larry and Jeramie Cadle and their children; brother, Ralph Nudi; sister, Linda King; nephews and nieces, Mike and Mark Nudi, Tina Johns, Lisa King and Dina Mooney. Mr. Nudi was preceded in death by his father and mother, Amil and Virginia Nudi. A gathering of family and friends will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Saturday, August 4, 2012 at Reigle Funeral Home.
