Mary was born on February 13, 1937, in Dunbar, Virginia, to the late Alfus and Reba (Tindell) Massingill. She was a graduate of the University of Michigan, where she earned her degree in nursing. At Crittenton Hospital, she worked as a registered nurse for twenty years. Following nursing, Mary sold real estate with Century 21. Mary loved so many hobbies including bowling and golfing. She also enjoyed riding motorcycles and motorhome glamping. Mary was known as an "all-around friend" to everyone, and she will be dearly missed. Mary was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, sister-in-law, aunt and friend.
