Mildred E. Cherry

Mildred E. Cherry – Age 96, of Flint, died Friday, March 4, 2016 at McLaren – Flint. Mrs. Cherry was born May 4, 1919 in Mohawk, New York the daughter of Bernard and Gladys Bard. She was a member of Maranatha Baptist Church, and enjoyed bowling, needlework and crocheting. Mildred retired from GMI. Surviving are her children, Janice Johnston, Ross (Rhonda) Bigelow; grandchildren, Dawn (Terry) Williamson, Janice (Douglas) Bailey, Sherry Chick, Lisa (Michael) Welsh, Melissa Kizer, Tammy (Jim) Nelson, Tracy (Donald) Culbertson, Dan (Diane) Bigelow, Marsha (Dennis) Gould, Randy (Tiffany) Bigelow, Rachel (Andres) Torres, Rebecca (Joey) Alick, Waine (Rebekkah) Bigelow, Mandy Bigelow, Brandi Bigelow, Taylor Fisher, Heather Fisher; 35 great grandchildren, 17 great great grandchildren. Mrs. Cherry was preceded in death by her two husbands, Waine Bigelow and Austin Cherry, son, Dean Bigelow, brothers, George Bard, David Bard and sister Shirley Sipes. Friends may visit the family from 3 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Reigle Funeral Home. The Funeral Service will be held 11 a.m. Monday, March 7, 2016 at Maranatha Baptist Church, 3408 Miller Rd., Flint, MI.
