LUCAS, Nellie J. – Age 70, of Flushing, died Tuesday, October 5, 2010 at McLaren Regional Medical Center. Mrs. Lucas was born October 16, 1939 in Flint the daughter of William and Anna (Bagley) Longmore. Nellie was very involved with her family. Surviving are her children, Donald (Tina) Lucas of Clio, Kimberly (Harry) Woodbeck of Flushing, Dennis (Barb) Lucas of Mt. Morris, Kenneth (Rose) Lucas of Lansing, Janet Heasty of Flint; 13 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren; sisters, Virginia (David) Shannon, Anna (Peter) Jaquet and many nieces and nephews. Mrs. Lucas was preceded in death by her son, Ronald Lucas November 20, 1994, sisters, Ruth Sutton, Louise Gasparich, Marion Roper and brother, William Longmore. Friends may visit the family from 3 to 8 p.m. Thursday and 10 a.m. until the time of service on Friday. The funeral service will be 1 p.m. Friday, October 8, 2010 at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Sunset Hills Cemetery.
