I met Pat back in the very early 60s when we moved on Tobias St. my son was just a little guy. Pats mother & father lived on the street also, that"s how we knew Pat. She became my son"s boss, but most of all his "other"mom in the years to follow. Pat was a blessing to know & she spoke her mind no matter what. Pat, you were loved by everyone, and most of all the Scherret & Reid family, I loved you & you will be sadly missed.Go fly with the angels.

Pat was like a grandmother to me. In the past 8 years we became best friends, as I helped take care of her. She was actually my boss and wonderful mentor, she is the one who hired me 21 years ago, I owe it all to her why I made Sewing machine sales my lifetime career.
Thank you Pat for being so special to me. You will be missed! I love you sweetie!

Pat and I met in 1970, when I moved to Flint to manage the new Singer store at Genesee Valley. She was a seasoned Singer lady at that time, having begun her career in 1948. She taught me so much then, and continued to do so, until now. She was inducted into the Sewing Machine Hall of Fame in the 1990's. I'll certainly miss my mentor and Dear Friend.
