

MIDOCK, Peter G. – Age 84 of Flint, died Friday, February 14, 2014 at his home. Mr. Midock was born May 15, 1929 in DeLancey, PA the son of the late Nicholas and Mary Midock. Peter served his country with the U.S. Army during W.W.II. He was a member of St. Michael Byzantine Catholic Church and worked at the church for 40 years. Mr. Midock worked at the Fenton Headquarters of Consumers Energy retiring with perfect attendance after 38 years. He enjoyed going to the casino. If you knew him you loved him by his jokes and infectious laugh. In 1955 Peter married Delores Dubensky and she survives him. Also surviving are his children, Paul Midock, Lisa (Jeff) Krause of Linden, Marsha (Tony) Wizauer of Sault Ste. Marie, John Midock; grandchildren, Char (Carlos) Stewart, Jenny Midock, Jeffrey Krause, Taylor (Mike) Schultz, Luke (Jodi) Wizauer; brother, Alex Midock; sisters, Olga Cook, Mary Margaret Brink; many nieces and nephews. Mr. Midock was preceded in death by his parents, sisters, Ann Blayer and Elizabeth Petroff. Friends may visit the family from 3 to 8 p.m. Monday at Reigle Funeral Home. A Parastas service will be held 7 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. The Funeral of Divine Liturgy will be celebrated 10 a.m. Tuesday, February 18, 2014 at St. Michael Byzantine Catholic Church, 2333 N. Elms Rd., Flushing, MI. Father David A. Hannes will officiate. Burial will follow at New Calvary Catholic Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Michael Church or the charity of your choice.
