

Robert was born to the late Charles Augustus Hazzard and Erma Mae (McFarland) Hazzard on October 15, 1927 in Flint, Michigan. Robert and his late wife, Grace, loved to travel and enjoyed spending their winters in sunny Florida. He was a longstanding member of Faith Missionary Church, and he truly loved the Lord. Robert was a lifetime Detroit Lions fan, and thoroughly enjoyed watching football. In his earlier years, he liked to play golf and bowl. Every week, Robert was faithful in attending his weekly cribbage game with his friends. Robert will be dearly missed by his loving family, and all who had the privilege to know him.
Robert leaves behind to cherish his memory his dear children, William (Valorie) Hazzard, Bonnie (Anthony) Grai and Brad Hazzard; precious grandchildren Anthony (Melissa), Jeremiah, Joel, Anna, Robert (Rebecca), Sarah (Paul), Melanie, Alan and Margaret; many cherished great grandchildren; many loving nieces and nephews who loved their favorite Uncle Bob; and his second family, the Holicki family, whom he loved and appreciated being a part of their many celebrations.
Robert is preceded in death by his beloved wife of 56 years, Grace Eldece; his loving second wife of 14 years, Mary Holicki; beloved sons Barry and Robert Hazzard; and dear siblings Genevieve, Ferris, Leonard, Edsel, Larry, Delores, June and Pearl.
The family would like to send their heartfelt appreciation to the staff of Heartland Hospice for the excellent care of Robert.
Memorial contributions may be made to Faith Missionary Church in Robert's honor.
Visitation will be held on Monday, November 8, 2021, from 9:30am to 12pm at Faith Missionary Church, 1327 N. Elms Rd., Flint, MI followed by the funeral service at 12pm officiated by Pastor Brent Kriesch. Interment will be at Sunset Hills Cemetery Flint,MI.
