Robin Shawn Alexander, age 61, of Flushing, Michigan passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 27, 2021. He was born to the late Sidney and Marjorie (Mead) Alexander on June 6, 1960 in Kansas City, Missouri. Robin was a trucker driver, who enjoyed his job for 38 dedicated years. He served in the United States Army Reserves, where he earned awards for his proficient sharp shooting. Robin enjoying collecting rare coins, and had quite the collection of Hot Wheels. He was also quite talented with his wood working skills, such as building tables and shelves. Robin's family said he was a "die hard Michigan fan" and loved receiving anything with Michigan memorabilia. He will be dearly missed by his family, and all who had the privilege to know him.
Robin leaves behind his beloved wife, Teresa; loving children, William (Jennifer) Alexander, Jennifer (James) Montague and Carmen Alexander; cherished grandchildren, Troy, Madison, James, Trenton, Kaleb and Treyson; dear sister, Sarah Kirsner; and faithful dog, Mesa.
Robin is preceded in death by his parents, Sidney and Marjorie Alexander; and brother, Mark Alexander. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorial contributions be made to the family for funeral expenses and Carmen Alexander's college fund.
Inurnment will take place at Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly, MI.
