

He began his career at General Motors as a line worker for Local 659 and, through dedication and perseverance, rose to the role of Committee Man. His work ethic was matched only by his passion for classic cars. He was especially proud of his beautifully restored and maintained roman red 1957 Pontiac Super Chief, which he proudly displayed at countless car shows, earning numerous awards and the admiration of fellow enthusiasts.
Ronney loved the relaxation of fishing and the thrill of the hunt. Over the years, he brought home many deer, and was especially proud of his successful hunts for one elk and one bear, which were enjoyed with his family.
He shared 55 wonderful years of marriage with his beloved wife, Rosemary, whom he married on June 30, 1967. Their enduring love was the foundation of a life filled with family, laughter, and unforgettable memories.
Ronney will be remembered for his warmth, his grit, and the deep pride he took in everything he did — whether on the job, in the woods, or under the hood of his Pontiac.
He is survived by his children, Ronney (Leah) Davis II, Sina Davis; grandchildren Whil Perry III, Ronney Davis III, Juliana Davis and Emeren Davis: great granddaughter Briana Rose Perry; siblings; Carolyn Reider, Sandy (Joe) Satterwhite and Bobby ( Samantha) Bully and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Ronney is preceded in death by his parents, and his loving wife, Rosemary of 55 years.
A visitation will be held on Friday, May 9, 2025 at Reigle Funeral Home/ Sunset Chapel - 5501 W. Pierson Road, Flushing, Michigan at 11:00 AM, followed by a funeral service at 1:00 PM. Ronney will be laid to rest at Crestwood Cemetery in Grand Blanc, Michigan.
