

Shirley loved her flowers and plants; she enjoyed working in her yard and not only telling everyone what each plant and flower was, she loved sharing seeds with those who admired them also. Shirley was amazing at telling the stories of her life, recalling moments with such details was at times astonishing.
Shirley’s spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew her, including those long-time neighbors that always looked out for her, when she would go for her neighborhood walks or stand at her fence and share conversations.
She is survived by her six children: Michael “Mic” (Pam) Ybarra, Davison, Dennis Ybarra, Flint, Gregory Ybarra, Mount Morris, Steve ( Laura) Ybarra, Flint, Valerie (Miles) Metcalf, Arizona, Pamela ( Juan) Osorio, Illinois. 14 Grandchildren, 13 Great Grandchildren, 3 Great Great Grandchildren. Shirley is also survived by sister Betty Hamilton along with numerous nieces and nephews. Shirley was preceded in death by her Father Alton Rose, Mother, Elta Mae (Richard) George, Sister, Arvilla Dishman (Rose), Husband, Michael J. Ybarra, Brother, Darrell “Bud” Rose .
She will be deeply missed and remembered for her laughter and wisdom and the beauty she brought into the world.
Celebration of Life memorial is being planned for Saturday, January 11, 2025, 12:00 PM Mass at Our Lady of Guadalupe.
