Theodore Elroy Edick

Edick, Theodore 3/3/1933 - 11/22/2019 Flushing, MI EDICK, Theodore age 86, died Friday, November 22, 2019 at Fostrian Manor. Funeral services will be held at Saint Andrews Episcopal Church 1922 Iowa Avenue, Flint, at 11am Tuesday, November 26, 2019. Father Jay Gantz officiating. Interment at Flushing Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday from 4pm – 8pm with a Masonic Memorial Service at 7pm at The Reigle Funeral Home, 5501 W. Pierson Rd, Flushing. Ted was born March 3, 1933 in Flint, MI to loving parents Wilford and Amy (Miller) Edick. He coached VFW little league baseball for many years. Ted was a past member and treasurer of the Flushing athletic booster club. A member of Mt. Morris Masonic Lodge 535. He entered the US Army 4/14/53 during the Korean War serving in the US Army's 31st infantry Dixie Division and the 8th infantry Golden Arrow division. Honorably discharged on 4/1/61. He served Flushing township as the Flushing township trustee for 16 years, and was a past member of the township association. He was a resident of Flint for 31 years, Flushing for 51 years and Saulte Ste. Marie, MI for 4 years. He retired from Buick motors accounting department in 1979. In lieu of flowers, please make contributions to Saint Andrews Episcopal soup kitchen in Flint. He married his loving and wonderful wife, Beverly Jane Davey, August 29th, 1953 at Saint Paul's Episcopal Church in Flint, MI. He is a present member of Saint Andrew's Episcopal Church. Surviving are wife Beverly of 66 years; sons Scott (Terri) Edick of Diamond Dale, MI., Mark Edick of Lansing MI., and daughter Julie Edick of Flint. Many nieces, nephews, grandnieces, and grandnephews.
