Whitey, Barbara and the rest of Tony’s family. Tony was the salt of the earth: He was one-of-a-kind. He brought out the best in every one around him. My deepest condolences to your family.

I am so sorry for everyone’s tragic loss. I will always remember Tony’s happy smile and sense of humor. My heart goes out to all of you. I went to school with Justin and am devastated that they are both gone. Gone but definitely not forgotten.

Some of my earliest memories were of Tony. Watched his first motorcycle ride, (he lost control and tore up our lawn) but within 30 days he and Butch Mcartney were landing 25 foot jumps behind central elementary. He was a good guy to grow up with... just reconnected with him on Facebook, and was thinking of trying to see him the next time I made it down to Flushing...very sad that's no longer an option. My sympathies to Whitey and Anne.

RIP lifelong friend,
Dave Sorensen and family
