My wife Selma attended Loving Hands Adult Day Care Center for almost two years. Selma and Velma became close friends. Whether they were eating, working on crafts, reading magazines, or just sitting on the couch, they were always together. They developed a special bond during their time together.

On March 6, 2011, three weeks prior to Velma’s passing, Selma passed away, also at Avalon Hospice. It comforts me to know that they are together again, sitting at God's table, conversing as good friends do. However, one thing is different now. They are able to enjoy each other's company with renewed minds.

I pray that God will bless you and comfort your family during these difficult days.

Although I can't be with you while you remember your loved one, you're in my thoughts from afar.
